Music Monday... With a Punch

Music is super important in my life, so I wasn't surprised when I caught myself creating playlists for my stories before I even started writing the books. I'm currently working on "Heavy Hitters" a story set in my hometown of Puerto Rico featuring a reggaeton singer and a professional boxer, and, of course, I've been listening to lots of reggaeton. But the lively beat is not suitable for every scene. Sometimes I require a slow song with lots of emotions and meaning, and I was delighted to find this one when I was working on the first part of "Heavy Hitters". You'll see why parts of it got to me when you read the book.

P.S. "Heavy Hitters" doesn't end on a sad note. :-)
