Life Happens, so Bad News

Hey all! Hope you're having a great holiday season. All shopping done? Good for you! I haven't even started mine yet, but what else is new? I don't have time for much these days. I don't do much other than work. :-(

So, I'm going to keep this post quick and simple.

In the past few months I've been feeling like this...

and at some point in the past couple of weeks I realized I was like this...

then I became this...

and had no choice but to do this...

I can't dedicate time to my writerly persona right now. For the longest time I've been engaged in a race against time, but I need to stop. My day job is my priority at the moment, plus I need to think about my health, and guys, I can't deal with the stress anymore. One mental breakdown was enough. :-(

Many of you know I don't like doing things half-assed, so I'm going to concentrate on my job and take a brief break from the gay romance world. Just a few weeks, but nothing TVD related will happen until I come back. This means the release of Heavy Hitters (December 12th) will be postponed until then. I'm sorry for disappointing all of you who were looking forward to it, but I hope you'll understand that I wouldn't do this if I absolutely didn't think I had to. Like I said before, it won't be for too long, and you can be sure I will give you quality stuff upon my return.

I love you all!

xoxo

Taylor

  5. Sometimes you have to sit back and evaluate what the heck is wrong and why is my life out of control. I think we all have these moments at some time or another. The important thing is that you realize you need a break and you are taking care of yourself. I've always been told when I was facing stressed beyond belief moments "If you don't take care of yourself what good will you be to others?" It makes so much sense bk if you run yourself completely down trying to do what everyone else expects of you, you are still going to put yourself out of the picture. I admire and respect anyone who can see what is happening and has the guts to do something about it. No one will hold that against you for taking care of yourself. I wish you the best of luck and hope you have a Merry Christmas. Regardless to when your books are released we will buy them. Take care. Hugs
